Total Energies Uganda
Marketing Conference
Project Description
Total Energies faced a significant challenge with its asset management system, which had become outdated and disorganized over time. They required a comprehensive solution to verify, update, and streamline their asset register to enhance efficiency and accuracy across their operations.
Our Approach
We tackled this project in three meticulously planned phases:
Phase 1: Asset Verification
We commenced by conducting an exhaustive verification process to ensure that all listed
assets were physically present on the ground. Our team of experts carried out detailed
audits and cross-referenced existing records to confirm the accuracy and completeness of the
asset list.
Phase 2: Cleansing and Updating
Next, we undertook the task of cleaning out obsolete assets that were no longer in use or
relevant. This involved rigorous data analysis and field inspections. Following the cleanup,
we generated a brand-new asset register, ensuring that each asset was assigned a unique QR
code for easy identification and tracking.
Phase 3: Production of Scannable Asset Tags
In the final phase, we produced and implemented scannable asset tags across Total Energies'
entire network. These tags, embedded with unique QR codes, enabled real-time scanning and
seamless integration with the updated asset management system, facilitating enhanced
tracking and management.
The Result
By the end of our engagement, Total Energies had a fully verified, updated, and streamlined
asset register, complete with scannable QR-coded tags. This transformation not only improved
their operational efficiency but also provided a robust foundation for future asset
management and tracking.
